Natural Computing Workshop

in conjunction with

6th International Symposium on
Symbolic and Numeric Algorithms for Scientific Computing
Timisoara, Romania
September 26 - 30, 2004

Workshop description

Natural Computing refers to the use of nature-inspired paradigms in designing methods to solve difficult computational problems. It tries to combine the computing carried on in computer science with the computing observed in nature. The workshop aim is to facilitate the contact between specialists from different areas of natural computing.

              - evolutionary computing,
              - neural computing,
              - molecular computing ( DNA computing, membrane computing)
              - quantum computing,
              - immunocomputing,
              - swarm intelligence,
              - hybrid systems and other intelligent systems inspired by nature,
              - natural computing applications
